Description text translated read: A terrible fire which was started in New York on the night of September 19, 1776, wherein all the buildings on the West Side of the new Stock Exchange, from the Brook strent to the Kings College, more than 1600 houses, Trinity Church, the Luthern Chapel, the school for the poor, were reduced to ashes.
